Domaine de La Bretonnière is owned by the Charpentier’s family for 4 generations. 

Today the vineyard is runned by the 2 brothers Pierre-Yves and Patrice Charpentier. Pierre-Yves is taking care of the vinification, Patrice works at the office (sales & administration) and both of them are doing viticulture work. They did their first vintage in 1989 (resuming their parents activity). The vinification happens in concrete buried tanks.

The Loire Valley, in central France along the Loire River and its tributaries, is distinguished by vineyards, farmland and majestic châteaux. A wine-producing region, it’s known for dry whites such as Sancerre and Pouilly-Fumé.
