Gilles Vincent, now in his fifties, is the 3rd generation of the family to manage the domaine.
The domaine is located in the village of St Lager to the east of the Brouilly hill. It takes its name from the old tower standing in the heart of the family-owned vineyards.
The 6 ha of Brouilly appellation-classified vineyards are centred around the winery. The soil is made up of white, loamy soils mixed with the typical blue stones found in the appellation.
The vineyards are planted at a density of 10,000 vines/ha and pruned to the traditional Gobelet shape. The grapes are entirely harvested by hand and vinification is the traditional Beaujolais method. The grapes go into vat in whole bunches, where they spend 7-8 days in order to acquire a lovely soft, fruity character.
